ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is an entirely authorial project and heavily inspired by traditional Japanese animations. The concept of this project was to introduce the world to Freakers! The goal was to create a funny and chaotic animation to represent what goes on inside an animator's head with so many ideas that are about to explode!

MAKING OF
It all started with the conception of our own personality, i wanted to make something cool and chaotic with my little mascot, and nothing better than to use the old-fashioned traditional animation style to start the project!
After some sketches and a lot of good "sakuga" references, i ended up with this storyboard, where some kind of travel through the subconscience happens.
After approving the storyboard, i mixed it all together and made the animatic.
Once the rythm was set up, it was time for the styleframes to show up!
Finally, for the first part of the animation, the process of frame by frame began.
